Wilanów - the royal residence with a rose garden

On a short trip to Warsaw, we discovered Wilanów palace and park - a complex in baroque style built for King Jan Sobiecki II. Wilanów used to be a village, and although it now became a Warsaw's district, the place preserved its peaceful atmosphere.

The park is full of giant roses that decorate it all year round. Their size made me feel like Alice in the Wonderland. The falling leaves blended with the colors of the palace: yellow, golden, and green.

In the autumn and winter, lights illuminate the garden next to the palace, while during the day guests can visit the entire park. Walking by the lake, we watched fishers on a boat and imagined how it would be to live in a palace. By the way, new Nobel owners redecorated the complex for their needs, and nowadays, it preserves the history of different epochs.
